PILKINGTON ‘HIGHLY COMMENDED’ IN IR MAGAZINE 2003 The Pilkington corporate web site, www.pilkington.com, was ‘Highly Commended’
in the category ‘Best Investor Relations Web Site’ for a non-FTSE 100 company,
at the IR Magazine 2003 Awards, held in London on 30 June. This follows a commendation in the ‘Best Practice Website
FTSE 250 Award’ at the 2003 IR Best Practice Website Awards in April 2003.
In 2002 the Pilkington site won the ’Most Improved IR Web Site’ award
and a commendation in the FTSE 250 category. Pilkington Head of Corporate Affairs and Investor Relations, David Roycroft, said, ‘This is recognition of the major effort Pilkington has made to develop an IR web site that is easy to navigate and really useful to shareholders and analysts in their decision-making. We are aware that there are always improvements to be made and we welcome feedback from all visitors to the site’.
